- Advertising Policy –
Any Advertiser Contents or Advertiser Products/Services (collectively, “Ads”) falling into the content categories listed below are prohibited to be supplied or displayed through our Services:
<![if !supportLists]>1. <![endif]>Illegal products and services: Ads must not constitute, facilitate, offer or promote illegal products, services or activities such as smuggling, money laundering, unauthorized ticket sales or human organs.
<![if !supportLists]>2. <![endif]>Adult contents: Ads must not contain adult content which may be deemed sexually explicit, pornographic and obscene. This includes thinly censored nudity, depictions of people in explicit or suggestive positions, or activities that are overly suggestive or sexually provocative.
<![if !supportLists]>3. <![endif]>Contents making misleading or deceptive claims: Ads, landing pages, and business practice must not contain deceptive, false, or misleading content, including deceptive claims, offers, or methods.
<![if !supportLists]>4. <![endif]>Third-party infringements: Ads must not contain content that infringes upon or violates the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights, right of privacy, right of publicity, moral right or other personal or proprietary rights, such as illegal downloads, unauthorized copied material, torrent site, online pirating, etc.
<![if !supportLists]>5. <![endif]>Counterfeits: Ads may not promote unauthorized copied material, fake goods or documents, such as P2P file sharing, torrenting, counterfeit degrees, money, passports or immigration papers.
<![if !supportLists]>6. <![endif]>Drugs and drug paraphernalia: Ads must not promote the sale or use of illegal, prescription, or recreational drugs.
<![if !supportLists]>7. <![endif]>Endangered/unsafe supplements: Ads must not promote the sale or use of unsafe supplements including but not limited to tobacco, alcohol, liquor, spirits, poison, anabolic steroids, chitosan, comfrey, dehydroepiandrosterone, ephedra, and human growth hormones.
<![if !supportLists]>8. <![endif]>Gambling: Ads must not promote or facilitate online real money gambling, real money games of skill or real money lotteries, including online real money casino, sports books, bingo, or poker.
<![if !supportLists]>9. <![endif]>Controversial contents: Ads must not contain content that (i) exploits controversial political, religious or social issues for commercial purposes; (ii) may be reasonably deemed as vulgar, misrepresentative; (iii) may pertain to illegal activity.
<![if !supportLists]>10. <![endif]>Hate content, sensitive topics and violence: Ads must not contain or promote shocking, sensational, offensive, threatening, libelous, profane, defamatory, harassing, profane, defamatory, harassing, disrespectful or excessively violent content, or any concepts that are hateful or disparaging towards any race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or nationality.
<![if !supportLists]>11. <![endif]>Spyware, malware and illegal hacking: Ads must not contain worm, virus, backdoor, Trojan horse, software bombs, spyware, malware, phreaking, illegal file-sharing, or illegal hacking that results in an unexpected or deceptive experience. This includes links to sites containing these products.
<![if !supportLists]>12. <![endif]>Weapons and weapons accessories: Ads must not promote the sale or use of weapons, firearms, bombs, ammunition, explosives and other weapons accessories, arms trafficking, or how-to guides for any of the foregoing.
<![if !supportLists]>13. <![endif]>Prohibited financial products and services: Ads must not promote (i) financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency; (ii) pyramid schemes; (iii) payday loans, paycheck advances or any other short-term loan intended to cover someone's expenses until their next payday.
<![if !supportLists]>14. <![endif]>Ads targeting underage children: Ads are targeting the Users who are underage children under the applicable laws in the corresponding jurisdiction, such as people under sixteen (16) in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 or people under thirteen (13) in Children Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), must not promote products, services, or content that are inappropriate, illegal, or unsafe, or that exploit, mislead, or exert undue pressure on the age groups targeted.
<![if !supportLists]>15. <![endif]>Ads violating prevailing industry policies: Ads must not violate policies, principles, specifications or criteria of relevant industrial alliances, organizations or associations, such as Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) or European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (“EDAA”).
